These images were captured directly from STI's Parachute Flight Training Simulator. They are shown here at a smaller size to load faster, and combined to show underneath and side views. They are actually seen in the simulator in 640x480 resolution at 30 frames per second.

PILOT CHUTE IN TOW/HESITATION is a problem that occurs when the pilot chute comes out and is trapped in the low pressure area behind the jumper so that the main doesn't extract. Only the pilot chute is in view. Turning the jumper's body may help. If it doesn't, the jumper should pull the reserve without delaying to cutaway.
